Gaia and Sophia: outer personality and inner being
Kavassilas distinguishes Earth’s outer personality, associated with Gaia, from its inner soul, which he calls Sophia. In this account Sophia is neither an alien visitor nor a member of a species: Earth itself is conscious and humans are expressions of life connected with it.

Christ Sophia is a descriptive title
Kavassilas explains Christ Sophia through wholeness and the wisdom of unified life. He treats it as a description of an essence rather than an ordinary personal name. Mind and spirit, knowledge and love meet in the soul in his model.

Sophia’s role in disclosure
