My later interpretation was that the Reptilian in this scene was not hostile. The experience worked against the automatic cultural assumption that a reptilian-looking being must be negative.
Keep the remote-viewing scene, later interpretation, and independently verifiable physical claims separate. The practical lesson is to judge a being by behavior and cooperation rather than appearance alone.
